I think it has to be biological, but I know you would and love you for it. I emailed you just now. The doctor was drugging me with anti-psychotics–to improve my thoughts. He told Chris that he wanted to give it to me so I wouldn’t have any bad thoughts about him.

Now what is it called when a person is so afraid that someone is having bad thoughts about them that they
want to prevent them from having any thoughts at all.

Then they gave me atropine so my pupils were dialated and I couldn’t read. Most people who write are in the B range, or less–it’s all interesting
and valuable and there is always the beautiful line or page that is irreplceable and valuable.

To major in fiction and poetry, to get an A- average on long and complicated work, to dedicate 40 years to the project–that is a different matter entirely.

I kept writing very, very unintelligably and sent it to Daddy and begged him to do something–he is quite a powerful journalist and worked overseas. Our politics merge and diverge. I’m hoping he was able to do something to keep this from happening.
