I found a case of a woman who became ill after her dog died--some illnesses fatal to dogs, like
a form of Salmonella, can make people ill. They can cause paralysis iff enough rest is not obtained
and this can be mistaken for more serious disease. She was Euthanizeed in a place called Haldamar. This piqued my illness, because knowing the Nazi's.it was probably a reference to a German myth or saga. I have found very little. It appears to be aa Norse myth as well--it can be spelled Hajamar, or Hadamar--a storry of a man who sailed through the mists inro the inner earth, and was the first to see the Castle Towers of his own world again--Haldamar must have predated the Nazi--few emerged from Hadamar, and only very early on in Hitler's era.
If you subscribe, you can ponder upon my collection of wwii/holocaust photos. None of them were taken by my father. We have been at war for almost all of this century--we are killing 10,000 people a day now in the most senseless war since the Spanish American War at the turn of the Century. Both were based on our conviction that what we need or want is automatically ours, and we have the right to kill as many people as we want to take it.
In the middle East this is called the Carter Doctrine. A caucus of conservative senators put Carter in a grizly double bind. I'm sure the day he gave that speech, January 30th, 1979, is one he wishes could be erased from history.
